Kelvingrove Bandstand’s biggest annual event is back, and the 2026 lineup is stacked. Summer Nights at the Bandstand 2026 runs from Monday 27 July with The Flaming Lips, followed by Suzanne Vega, Mika, OMD (two nights), Sophie Ellis Bextor, Elephant Sessions, Tash Sultana, Marti Pellow (two nights), ABC, Idlewild, Billy Ocean and The Bluebells / Friends Again closing things out on 15 August.
It’s the eleventh year of the series, and last year’s lineup included Elbow, Stiff Little Fingers, Natasha Bedingfield and Karine Polwart – so it’s safe to say this is one of the West End’s biggest summer fixtures, eclectic mix of genres and all.
Marti Pellow’s two-night stand looks set to be a big one — he’ll play the Friday and Saturday of the middle weekend, and has spoken about how much it means to be back performing at home.
