Last year, we wrote about Christmas Party Venue ideas on an blog we used to run and we didn’t want to lose the content. Have a read below, and we’ll share an updated Glasgow IRL version later on in 2026.
To confirm, this post is recommending places to have your Glasgow Christmas Party.
VOCO Grand Central
The Grand Central is an iconic venue which forms part of the famous Glasgow Central Station. They have options which cover both Christmas Lunches and Christmas Party Nights.
Lunch wise, you can enjoy a three-course lunch set in either the Grand Ballroom or Victoria & Regent Suite which is followed by dancing until 4pm – it’s never too early to dance, right? Don’t worry, there’s a disco on afterwards too.
Another option is the Festival Flamingo Bingo which brings a fun, lively day with prizes available too. Dance and enjoy a day full of laughs. This option gives you a welcome drink and buffet to enjoy, and like before, your party can continue until late.
If you’d rather go later, then there’s a Grand Ballroom Party Nights option where you can enjoy a DJ and live band alongside a stunning three-course meal. Party the night away until 1am.
Prices for these Grand Central packages vary, starting at £49 per person. You can view the full Christmas 2025 brochure here. The brochure confirms dates but you’ll need to check for availability on their website.
The Horseshoe Bar
The Horseshoe Bar knows how to through a party whether its Christmas or not, but why not check of their festive options for a guaranteed fun day/night out. They have a Festive Set Menu and Festive Buffet Menu, offering a cracking selection of dishes for a competitive price.
The Festive Set Menu gives you the option of either two courses for £15.95pp or three courses for £18.95pp and this is available from 19th November 2025 until 2nd January 2026.
The Festive Buffet Menu is available over the same period, and costs £16.95 per person. This menu is more limited but there’s still a few tasty sounding items on offer.
There are plenty of drinks packages on offer, and we expect there will be Christmas themed options available. Check out the drink packages here, and if you want to book The Horseshoe Bar, then visit the official website here.
The Normandy
If it’s a festive tribute night you’re after then look no further than The Normandy which is probably best known for these types of parties. They’ve dropped their Festive 2025 brochure and there’s plenty of celebration nights on the cards.
As we’ve mentioned, tribute nights are a big thing at The Normady and during the festive season you can enjoy the likes of Here’s Come the 90’s, Club 80’s Live, Abba Again, The Very Best of the Decades and Christmas Party Floor Fillers. Enjoy a festive set menu and party until 1am. Prices vary from £45pp to £52pp.
View the full brochure here and see the food options, drinks menu and other events which are being held. Check availability and book via the official website.
The Ferry
Enjoy your Christmas celebrations on the Broomielaw Waterfront in a restored passenger ferry. Following the success of recent years, The Ferry is back with a festive offer for 2025 where you’ll get dinner and a party for £49.95pp. Note that at the time of writing, there are discounts across most of their packages so you might get it for even cheaper.
Enjoy a relaxed and informal dinner, before dancing the night away until 1am. There are various dates available throughout the month of December and all options can be viewed on The Ferry website.
Village Glasgow
Just across the water from the city centre, you’ll find the stunning Village hotel which runs parties often. That’s no different when it comes to Christmas as they have a variety of events running including Christmas Party Lunches, Christmas Party Nights and Festive Boogie Bingo.
There isn’t a brochure as such for Village Glasgow but we looked at one of the Christmas nights which was £45pp with a two-course meal, and a party that runs until late. We did stumble across sample party menus which will give you an idea of the type of food on offer. To book or enquire, please visit this page.
The Corinthian Club
If you have the Corinthian in mind this year, then they have dining and festive party options available. If you’re looking to enjoy your celebrations in a beautiful venue, then The Corinthian might just have an option for you.
Enjoy festive lunch or dinner which includes a glass of bubbly on arrival and a three-course set menu in the stunning Tellers Brasserie. Prices start at £34.95pp and the price increases on a Thursday-Sunday. Check out the Festive Dining Menu here. There is also a Festive Afternoon Tea at £38.95pp.
There are also festive party options with either a set menu or buffet. Again these prices can vary and they come with Fizz on arrival.
Find out more about the offers from The Corinthian and enquire about booking via their website.
Oran Mor
Heading over to the West End now, we couldn’t complete this list without including Oran Mor. This iconic venue offers three-course festive lunch options from £39.95pp and dinner from £49.95pp. You can view the festive menu here.
They also have Auditorium Party Nights with both an Auditorium and Buffet menu.
Finally there is Fonn Mor Party Nights at £64.95pp with this menu available.
Book and enquire via the official Oran Mor website.
Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the other three big cities. We just didn’t want to give you a whole lot of Christmas content all at once. Stay tuned if you’re looking for ideas in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.
Have you booked any of these places for your Christmas outing? Perhaps you’ve got more to add to the list? If so, let us know in the comments, we’d love to hear what you’re doing.
